Yesterday evening, while I was trying to update this journal, I was stopped by a message: "Disk full error." It seems that I only get about 6MB of space from S.U.N.Y. Potsdam's server for my web page. Naturally, I thought this was ridiculous, considering most "free" servers offer 10MB or more. However, the last thing I want pasted to my entries are watermarks, advertisements or (the worst) pop-ups. So, I made more room for The Project by clearing some of that crap that had been cumulating in my directory. First and foremost: the joke section and "Chain Letter 'Wisdom'" were axed - deleted entirely. Who ever cared about those sections anyway? I sure as hell didn't after a while. Things like that get old really fast. I wanted to keep my HTML guide, but it too took up a lot of space. The simple solution was moving it to a free server. Ads, pop-ups, etc. are not a problem on that (at least not as big of one). I finished this overhaul by trimming some of my older writing to include only those I've written in college (and only the good ones at that). Basically, anything I've written before then, I feel is really not worth reading, although some may find it momentarily amusing. All this freed up 4MB of server space within my own little chunk of S.U.N.Y. Potsdam cyberspace. This journal is important to me. I'm not letting a little thing such as lack of disc space prevent entries from being posted.
The British Goth chick left this morning. She and the Tall Guy hung out together all night long. When morning came, he called the radio station and had me say goodbye to her over the air and play a song. He's been really broken-up ever since she got on the bus to go to the airport. I've never seen him so depressed. Unlike myself, he rarely ever shows his negative emotions. It's disturbing. I'm really beginning to dislike how this semester is ending. I demand a rewrite!
