• Isis Draw, a great chemical structure drawing program (I wrote my PhD dissertation with it!), free for students, though you have to register at the site.
  


• Chemfinder (search for properties of a compound)
  


• The library's "finding books" page is very useful. It includes a database of the books in our library. The "finding books" page also includes a link to WorldCat by OCLC, a database of books in libraries (mostly in the US)- you can order most of these by interlibrary loan through the library- great for locating that book you need for your term paper! May require use of a campus computer for full access.
  


• Ingenta, search for useful papers. You should use this from a campus computer for full access.
  


• Interactive Periodic Table: Professional Edition or Scholar edition.
  


• Puzzled by some chemical terms? Try Mr Guch's "Great Big Chemistry Dictionary" from his "Cavalcade o'Chemistry site (mainly general chemistry).
  


• Chemical Safety Summaries from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.


• Chemical Safety Data Sheets- just go to the part that says "Second, Search our Database" and type in the name of the chemical.
