Summer 2006

This is the summer of 2006 whirligig crew. Sandy LaBuda (left) finished from SUNY Geneseo and is currently working at the Zoo. She presented her results at the 2007 Animal Behavior Society Meeting. Matan Shelomi (middle) is currently at Harvard University. Adrienne Barnard (right) finished at SUNY Potsdam and is currently in Vet school at Cornell.
Summer 2005
Will Donelan and Sarah Waybright (above) worked with the whirligig project during the summer of 2005. Will is from SUNY Potsdam and is in graduate school in Florida. Sarah graduated from Franklin and Marshall College.
Summer 2004

These are the "Whirlettes" of summer 2004.
Emily Galbraith (far left) finished at Ohio Wesleyan University and is currently a graduate student at University of Cincinnati working on spider behavior. She presented a poster on her research at the Animal Behavior Conference in Utah in the summer of 2006 and is co-author on a recent paper (Romey and Galbraith, 2008). Abi Wallace (middle) finished at Oberlin College and is co-author on a recent paper (Romey and Wallace, 2007). Alissa Walston (right) finished at Cornell University and is also co-author on a recent paper (Romey et al. 2008). See the publications section of this website for the full references.
