Time
for MATH MINUTE! (provide your favorite theme music here).
Get
out your paper & pencil because I have a new puzzle for you!!
PUZZLE #35 Which
coins are where? Sept.
24-28
Suppose
you are shown 3 small cans with individual labels of 10cents, 15cents, and
20cents.
You
are told each can contains 2 coins, one has 2 nickels, one has a dime and a
nickel, and one has 2 dimes. But you cannot see in the cans.
You
are also told that each can is mislabeled.
If
you are allowed to look in only one can, how can you determine exactly which
coins are in which can?
