PUZZLE #7  Tiling the kitchen floor        Oct. 23-27

Time to tile the kitchen floor.

Several weeks ago we did the bathroom floor in odd

shaped triangles - and it worked!

So I went to the tile shop thinking that I would use

ordinary square shaped tiles this time.

      Something like this maybe?

But the tile shop was having another sale (you guessed it)!

They had tiles which were shaped like this one on sale for

half-price and I love to save money!

But I was skeptical, would it work?

No two sides or corners are equal and no corners are

right angles!

Is it possible to use this shape to tile the floor without any

of the old floor showing through??

Please show me how to do it if you can!?!?

Go get some scissors and make a copy of this shape.

Then try to draw around it and fill up the page, but be

sure not to turn it over!
