FRESHMEN DRINKING DROPS TO NEW LOW
A survey of 269,313 freshmen at 434 US colleges and universities reveals that beer drinking has reached a new 35-year low. For example, 48% of first-year students reported drinking beer occasionally or frequently, compared to 74% in 1982.
The study was conducted by the University of California at Los Angeles in conjunction with the American Council on Ecucation.
