ALCOHOL USE BY STUDENTS DOWN
The proportion of both junior and senior high schools who have consumed any alcohol during the year has dropped again for the third year in a row, according to the PRIDE Survey, a nation-wide study of 138,079 students. In addition, a significant decrease since the previous year was also found in monthly use of any alcohol by both junior and senior high school students across the United States.
The Survey, the nation's largest monitor of teen-agers and substances, is designated by federal law as an official measure of substance use by teens.
