Bottle of Very Rare Irish Whiskey up for Sale: $182,000
A bottle of Irish Whiskey distilled in the late 1800s at the Nun’s Island Distillery in County Galway is for sale at 100,000 pounds or $182,000. It’s believed to be the last surviving bottle from the distillery, which ceased production in 1913.
Unlike wine, which can deteriorate after a long period of time, distilled spirits (whiskey, rum, tequila, vodka, etc.) maintain their quality indefinitely after being bottled.
