Children in Pubs
England and Wales now permit pubs to obtain "children's certificates" which permit them to accomodate children of any age in a pub before 9:00 p.m. if they are accompanied by an adult.
As the Home Secretary explained, allowing children into pubs would enable them to see people drinking sensibly and give them a civilized introduction to alcohol.
