24 Hour Pubs
In an effort to prevent heavy drinking just before British pubs' closing time, legislation has been introduced in Parliament that would enable pubs and bars to stay open 24 hours a day.
Currently, "last call" is 11:00p.m., a time when some drinkers order as many drinks as possible and drink them quickly. This sometimes results in drunk and disorderly behavior after that time.
