MODERATION INCREASES IN BRITAIN
A recent survey conducted by the British Office for National Statistics revealed a continuing trend toward increased moderation in the consumption of beverage alcohol, "contrary to the popular notion of a rise in binge drinking."
The study also found that the vast majority of Britons drink in moderation or not at all. For example, over half of the women surveyed (52%) and over a third of the men (35%) had not consumed any alcohol at all in the previous seven days.
