Alcohol and Energy for the Body

According to one alcohol activist group, “it's time to confront some of the most wacked-out lies about alcohol.”

Its number-one “myth” is that alcohol “gives you energy.” But according to the United States Department of Agriculture, alcohol does provide energy. Furthermore, the government identifies the exact amount of energy provided by different alcoholic beverages.
