In
this workshop, students will engage in activities designed to sharpen the
skills needed to formulate a mathematical presentation. Through hands-on exercises and active
involvement, the participants will learn and develop techniques for the
following.

Editing an existing presentation

Discussing the differences in presentations designed for different
audiences

Formulating the ideal story
to be told to different audiences
-
Extracting the key information from a mathematical topic
-
Creating an actual two-minute talk (in groups) to be presented
The
workshop will be limited to 28 students on a first come first served basis.
