The student will demonstrate:
the ability to product a rich, pleasant tone in all registers
ability to perform musically and expressively on the trumpet
the ability to perform level A technical requirements and audition
transpose music for trumpet piched in C, D, and E-flat
familiarity with the solo and etude literature appropriate to his/her level of ability
LEVEL 423,424
The student will:
transpose music for trumpet pitched in A, E, and F
begin to become familiar with the orchestral repertoire for trumpet and develop an orchestral style of performance
perform on trumpets pitched in C and E-flat and become familiar with the solo repertoire for those instruments
become familiar with the solo and etude literature appropriate to his/her level of performance
perform a 10 minute recital
LEVEL 425,426
The student will:
maintain the acquired technical skills
perform on a piccolo trumpet and become familiar with the solo and orchestral repertoire for that instrument
become familiar with the solo and etude literature appropriate to his/her level of musicianship
develop the necessary confidence to perform in public as a trumpet soloist
LEVEL 427,428
The student will:
maintain the acquired technical skills
become familiar with the solo and etude literature appropriate to his/her level of musicianship
demonstrate the ability to self-analyze his/her pedagogical and performance skills
perform a solo recital
