The Met’s award-winning series of live performance transmissions to movie theaters
continues to captivate audiences around the world. The fourth season of The Met: Live
in HD will feature nine of the most popular operas ever composed and include five new
productions in startling high definition and digital surround sound. Robotic cameras,
strategically placed around and behind the stage, capture the beauty and power of live performance from striking angles, and heighten attention to both performance and
production. Intermission features bring the back-stage world to life with short documentaries,
tours, and intimate behind-the-scenes interviews of cast and crew. English
subtitles allow the stories to come to life. Experience the depth and raw energy of
world-class opera while getting an unprecedented look at the creation of great art.

same for both shows, and either day can be chosen when buying the entire season.

Potsdam's First Crush Bistro and LaCashbah are collaborating with The Met: Live in HD broadcasts to bring exclusive, one-of-a-kind meals to opera-goers! The restaurants are offering a partnership with Crane and the Roxy to provide lunches and dinners on selected dates to correspond with special operas. The sumptuous spreads and friendly atmosphere of both restaurants will provide gathering places to combine fabulous tasting treats with good fellowship, joining both food and classical music-lovers and creating a new way to enjoy and support weekend operas in Potsdam. Enjoy a meal and an opera in beautiful downtown Potsdam and make it a day! Exact menus are subject to change based upon availability and the inspiration of the chefs.
A portion of the proceeds from these meals will the Crane School and the Roxy continue to bring The Met: Live in HD broadcasts to Potsdam. Restaurant walk-ins will be accepted, but it is best to make reservations with the CPS Box Office by the Friday prior at noon to ensure that you have a seat!
