Seeking male and female singer/actor/dancers,
ages 16 and up for principal and ensemble roles
in HAIRSPRAY and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.

HAIRSPRAY requires ethnically appropriate casting. Actors must appear white/Caucasian or African American.

Also seeking female child of African American descent, ages 9-15 for the role of “Little Inez” in Hairspray.

Vocal Auditions: Tuesday, March 19 from 5 – 10 pm by appointment Dance Call & Callbacks: Wednesday, March 20 from 5 – 10 pm

Tuesday’s auditions will take place in the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, room C123.
Enter through Snell Theater lobby and follow signs to auditions.

Accompanist will be provided. Please prepare two 16 bar songs of contrasting styles from the musical theater repertoire.
Preferred styles are pop belt and traditional ballad. Sheet music must be in preferred key as there will be no on-site transposition. You may sing from the shows. Please bring a recent photo (photo will be kept for our files).
