The performance opens with a short piece from repertoire by Company principals, followed by dances by campers.  Students  have been  working since Monday, July 14 on choreography specially designed for them by Rebecca Kelly. The camp is an intensive experience of daily training, working with professional artists and culminating in the performance on stage for the community.  Students have gained experience in ballet, pointe, stretch, and modern from participating in dance classes especially tailored to develop and challenge their individual skills and ability levels.

Rebecca Kelly Ballet is an internationally acclaimed contemporary ensemble based in New York City and the Adirondack Mountains.  The eight-member chamber ensemble has brought to the stage simply the bestblend of modern and contemporary ballet. Rebecca Kelly Ballet has provided its dance programs to upstate New York for over 15 years, developing with each community, tailored, quality programs that nurture appreciation for the beauty of dance, and provide a hands-on experience, thoroughly engaging audiences and participants at every age. The company has captivated audiences since 1980 in major New York City theaters and throughout the US and Europe.
