The Red Wine Health Myth

Most people know that drinking red wine in moderation contributes to better health and greater longevity. Scientific medical research conducted around the world for decades has demonstrated the health benefits of red wine consumption.

However, few people realize that the health and longevity benefits of red wine also apply equally to drinking white wine, beer, and distilled spirits (vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila, etc.) Research suggests that the beneficial component of alcoholic beverages is primarily the alcohol itself.
