Drinking Alcohol and the Risk of Brain Tumors

A meta-analysis of the research literature of 19 studies on the subject of alcohol and brain tumors concluded that consuming alcohol “does not appear to be associated with adult brain cancer, though a potential effect of high does deserves further study.”

Drinking in moderation is associated with lower risk of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.
