SWEDISH DRINKING AGE

Although the minimum drinking age is 20 in Sweden, 37% of the members of Sweden's parliament want to lower the limit to 18, the age at which Swedes come of age.

The proportion of members of parliament who favor lowering the drinking age has increased from that found in earlier opinion polls.
