MYTH: If you are homosexual, you have AIDS

FACT: AIDS is NOT a gay disease. As a disease of behavior, it affects people across the spectrum of age, race, class, sexual orientation and gender. AIDS does not discriminate.


MYTH: I can't possibly contract HIV infection.

FACT: HIV is spread by sharing infected blood or blood products, semen, vaginal fluids or breast milk.
If you share these infected fluids by any means, you are at risk.
